Bead Guide

There are 5 different types of beads you can obtain. 
You can equip these whether they are mixed or not.


Types of beads:

+1-+12 beads appearance is on the left and +13-+20 is on the right

Gold Bead - strength - white - +1 to strength 

Fire Bead - attack - red - +1 to offensive power 

Tree Bead - critical - green - +5 damage to critical 

Ground Bead - defense - black - +1 to defensive power 

Water Bead - health - blue - +10 to health 

Secret Bead Stone - this will turn into one of the above beads when a hammer is used on it.  You can obtain hammers at CHUNMYONG in VV. 

Bead Combinations: (there are 10 possible combinations):

strength/crit (White+Green) = Connected bead

strength/life (White+Blue) = Whepower bead 

strength/attack (White+Red) = Reversed bead 

attack/defence (Red+Black) = Bpower bead 

crit/life (Green+Blue) = Kyulwhebead 

crit/attack (Green+Red) = Kyul bead 

crit/defence (Green+Black) = Bconnected Bead 

life+attack (Blue+Red) = Gongwhe bead 

life+defence (Blue+Black) = Whe bead 

strength+defence (White+Black) = Gong bead

Mixing/upgrading:

Mixing:
You can only mix beads of the same + value (+1 and +1, +5 and +5,etc.)
Mixing beads is 50% success rate.
Note that you will loose both beads if mixing fails.

Upgrading:

+1-+12:
While upgrading +1-+12 bead (basic or mixed) you can ONLY raise its + rating by 1 and ONLY by using +1 bead of the same type.
Upgrading beads +1-+12 is 50% success rate.
Note that you will loose both beads if upgrading fails (base bead and the one which is used as an upgrade).

+13-+20:
While upgrading +13-+19 bead (basic or mixed) you can ONLY raise its + rating by 1 and there are two ways to do it:

1. Using +1 bead of the same type. Upgrade success rate is 50%.

2. Using +13 bead of the same type. Upgrade success rate is 100%.

Fun fact: apart from changing appearance +13-+20 beads also get "B-" prefix in their names (ex. +13 red bead is called B-Fire Bead and +13 white bead is called B-Gold Bead, mixing them you get B-Reversed bead +13)

Below are stats for each bead and its + value. Mixed beads give combined stats of beads used to make the final one.

Where did you get 1664? Yes you need 8 beads of +13 to make +20 and if success rate is 100% then its simply 8*13=104

there isnt any specific bead for specific classes, however depends on weapon style and/or bag/tab usage u might choose different beads for different builds.

i have now a mixed +13 atk str bead can i upgrade it to +14 with another +13 atk str bead or does this not work also if it works how is the upgrade chance?

How is it possible that upgrading with +13 beads is 100% succes but combining 2 +20 beads has a 50% fail rate? Its kinda illogical if you ask me.

cause you are combining, not upgrading. that's my answer. otherwise everyone would only upgrade single color bead until +20 then only combine them, then you will see +20 mixed bead worth nothing, cause upgrading single color bead to +20 is a lot easy than making a lot +1 mixed bead to upgrade it.

Let say I wanted to do (GoldFire Bead +12), how should I do it?
1st way:
Make Gold bead +1 > +2 > +3... to +12, then make another fire bead +1 > +2 > +3... to +12. And then get both the Gold bead +12 and Fire bead +12 mixed up to get GoldFire Bead +12

Or

2nd way:
Mix up a lot GoldFire bead +1 and upgrading them one by one

Which is the correct way? or both ways are able to achieve +12? Which way is better?

There is items that give +10 mixed beads but i forgot most of there names

Dirty Book, Godbirds feather, Burnt leaf, Expensive Tag, Reason for White Hair and there is heart but i forgot the exact name of that, most people will probably give you them for free, you can PM me in game if you want some IGN @ No.
