Game wont run

I followed the guide but when i hit start after the patch has gone through it doe'snt do anything. Just closes and i sit there staring at my screen lol. I have the latest files (To my knowledge) downloaded. What am i missing?

Make sure you have installed:-
Microsoft visual C++ 2008,2010,2012 (x86) and (x64). You need both (x86) and (x64) versions if you are on 64 bit.
Microsoft .net frame work.
Direct X (9.29.952.31111) and Direct X patch (6.2.9200.16492).
Easiest way is to use IObit Driver Booster. Needs to be pro (not free version) for it to find/update the C++ etc for you. There are free unlock codes out there if you search.
