I agree that the best gift for the bug reporters is a great game, but as you said people are narrow minded and probably always will be.

Even multi-billion dollar companies like western union does it. Their employees must report bugs in system, but they usually don't, so they implemented a system that you get reward points for certain deeds and mostly from bug reports. From those points you can buy from a pencil to iMac.
I don't know how many people exploited casino buff as I didn't play for a while now and u usually don't find me a t a casino, but nevertheless they exploited for some time before it was caught on and it made a big mess for the game and with the reward system it could have been reported earlier as someone would have been more interested in a reward from GM.
Regarding the off topic of yours. Why not? Why not sell for example RC ticket (only it) for gold. Lets say.. 2kg for rc ticket. Or sell weekly tickets. It would give a chance for players who cannot donate (and there are some who really cant) to play in rc and also take out gold from the economy of the game. Never to put pots for sale, just the map that most of people know and the map that without its basically impossible to reach 144lvl.
