EXP BUFFS/GM BUFF - Soul - 03-27-2023
Having played again for about a week, I noticed people wait for GM Buff to be able to get exp. And I appreciate it, because it is fucking hard to lvl up in this game. End-Game is basically for 144+ and without any help you could play years to get to that lvl.
However I would suggest a change. Because not everyone can be online when the GM is online. People from this server come from different time zones. And people only come on and wait to be buffed, sometimes for hours. Therefore I would suggest a daily buff which is announced to be received during a given time. So no more endless waiting. A different approach would be with a daily quest. Kill 50 of this or that and then receive a buff. The quest can be repeatable every day once. Or just a log-in reward, to get buffed, every day once. With daily reset at a certain time. That would address the issue with people waiting and being uncertain and it would make the system fairer for players who aren't online during the buff period and didn't know there was a buff.

Dumbest shit I've read in a while... GM buffs is a bonus, something extra.
You want exp pots/buffs?
1. Donate
2. Craft your own exp pot
3. Go play the casino
4. Attend drop events that might give you exp pots.

But the bonus is only reaching some of the players. So wouldn't it be fair to give it to everyone? People shout all day for exp buff and wait in vv with stalls asking to get buffed. I think that's not how it should be. And don't get me wrong i don't want the exp buffs stopped. They do help people, as it is very hard to lvl. But make them available to everyone. Not just those that are online with their main char at a specific time. The GM Buffs are a huge advantage in leveling. And those that don't receive it because they had in that exact moment a dc or just had to eat, or sleep, w/e won't have this HUGE advantage, while the others do... .
What is dumb about it? The bonus is huge and a huge extra. Better than any other buffs you can receive. Why not give it to everyone or create a system that allows it to be received by anyone, without having to be online 24/7.
The alternatives you mention are much much less effective. So not really alternatives.
